What is Nail Fungal? 

Nail fungal is a common condition that begins as a white or yellow spot under the tip fingernail or toenail. As the fungal infection goes deeper, nail fungus may cause your nail to discolour, thicken and crumble at the edge. Nail fungal can last several months.  

What are Nail Fungal Causes?  

In normal, healthy people, fungal infections of the nails are most caused by fungus that is caught from moist, wet areas. Communal showers, such as those at a gym or swimming pools, are common sources. 

Treatment 

There are many ways to treat nail fungal such as getting creams but go see a doctor or go to a local pharmacy and they will recommend a cream for you but if the cream doesn’t work you may have to have the toenail removed. Things you can do to prevent this wear the right size shoes, wear clean shoes daily also keep feet dry and clean to resist fungal growth.
